About Our Probate Attorneys
Michael Burstein is a 1987 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (the oldest law school west of the Mississippi) where he was the Managing Editor of the Constitutional Law Quarterly. He has been a lawyer in good standing as member of the California state bar since December of that year and also is admitted to practice as an attorney in Kansas and Oklahoma. He is a member of the Order of Distinguished Attorneys of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Michael is a probate attorney who also does estate planning and estate administration. He serves as the attorney for approximately 50 probates annually; and in his position as a lawyer he has prepared approximately 3,000 trusts; and more than 4,000 wills and has been an attorney in the same office building since September 1990.
Michael enjoys being a lawyer and specifically the type of law that he practices. As a probate attorney, Michael is able to put to use his lawyer skills in an area of the law that his clients have often have not had any experience and have sometimes heard stories about how long and difficult probate in the state of California can be. As an attorney who spends a substantial part of his lawyer time on probate matters every working day, Michael, his associate attorney, Debora Golshani and his paralegal, Kristen Winters, are extremely well versed in not only the California Probate Code, but also the nuances of the various probate courts in the different counties in the state of California.
